Primary and Secondary Schools in Richmond

Richmond High School

The original Richmond High School opened its doors in 1967. The new Richmond High School opened in 2018. It is the view of the school and the community that this is the reopening of the school.

Richmond Primary School

In the late 1980’s, it was decided that three local primary schools – Brighton Street, Burnley, and Cremorne Street – would combine. The three schools then became known as the one Richmond Primary School.

Melbourne Girls' College

Melbourne Girls' College is an all-girl public school located on Yarra Boulevard. It has one campus on the banks of the Yarra River which caters for girls from years 7 to 12, and has an enrolment of nearly 1,500.
