Northcote Primary School

Northcote Primary School was the first state school in the suburb, opening in May 1874. It's history surpasses 135 years of teaching. The school teaches students from years seven through to twelve and has a current population of 1,849 students.

St Joseph's School

St Joseph’s Primary School was established by the Sisters of Mercy on Arthurton Road in 1893. It has had various renovations and upgrades and continues to teach many students in the area. The school teaches students from years prep foundation to grade six.
