It's a growing suburb with more than 23,000 people, fairly evenly mixed between males and females. Its occupied with many younger families with a median age of 36 years old.

Mooroolbark is fortunate to have an array of sporting and recreation facilities. A well catered suburb for young families, you'll find many places to be involved in clubs and communities. The town centre is particularly popular among locals.

There are many older styled brick veneered and weatherboard homes. However in recent years there have been some new estates and renovations taking place. Mooroolbark is seeing many new standalone homes while townhouse are also being well received in the area.
