The suburb is fast increasing in population. There are many new land estates designed to cater families. The greatest increase in households are young couples with dependents. This is expected to continue well into 2030's. According to the Census Report 2016, the average median age is 30.
Once known as regional farmland territory, the suburb now offers a wealth of family amenities such as swimming pools, harness racing, indoor play centers, golf, paintball and so much more. The family lifestyle benefits from playground, parks and walkways too.
Previously farmlands and wide open spaces, there are now a large mix of house and land opportunities. Many with generous land parcels to suit the needs of families. Many homes are being plotted on smaller blocks of land, while many still remain on extra large blocks.
