Macleod College is a co-educational, teaching children and teenagers from prep foundation through to year twelve. The College grew out of the merger of Macleod High School and Macleod Primary School in 2000.

Charles La Trobe P-12 College is a public, co-educational high school in Macleod. It opened in 2011, the result of a merger between Banksia La Trobe Secondary College, Bellfield Primary School, Haig Street Primary School and Olympic Village Primary School.
