Kingsbury has a relatively even balance among male and females. There are many families residing in the suburb. The average median age is 32 according to the Census Report 2016. This is below the Melbourne average of 37.

There are a number of amenities to entertain families, but its further extended with neighbouring shopping Centres and the two large universities' close by.

Kingsbury has many older styled brick veneered homes. There have been some new subdivisions and renovations, but its likely we will see more new dwelling in the foreseeable future.

Kingsbury Primary School officially opened in 1960. The school has been teaching children from grades prep foundation through to grade six. There is approximately 150 enrolled students.

Our Lady of the Way

Our Lady of the Way was established in 1963 teaching children from grades prep foundation through to six. The Parish Church, Hall and School are located on a large site in attractive surroundings.
