According to the Census Report 2016, Dandenong has a large population of over 29,906 people with a young median age of 32 years old. The neighbourhood is a young environment and very multi-cultural with many nationalities.

Lifestyle

Dandenong is the biggest employment hub in the south east. It has many amenities including the Dandenong Plaza, Le Mans Entertainment, Dandenong Market and the The Walker Street Gallery & Arts to name a few.

Homes

The suburb has many older styled brick veneered and weatherboard homes. There have been some new subdivisions and renovations, but its likely we will see more new dwelling in the foreseeable future.
