There are many matured families residing in the suburb. The average median age is 39 according to the Census Report 2016. This is above the Melbourne average of 37. There are over 52% of people aged above 40.

Lifestyle

The suburb has seen so many cafes and restaurants arrive. The suburb also has some very nice amenities for families, including sports and recreation.

Homes

Ringwood East has many older styled brick veneered and weatherboard homes. There have been some new subdivisions and renovations, but its likely we will see more new dwelling in the foreseeable future.
