Melbourne has many magnificently kept botanical gardens. The Geelong Botanical Gardens is quite special. You can come and admire some amazing heritage gardens, take a blissful walk through the landscape or set up a picnic on the rolling green lawns. The gardens feature many local and drought resistant plants. Visit the Teahouse for a coffee and enjoy lunch with a loved one.

Geelong Library and Heritage Centre

The Geelong Library and Heritage Centre contains over 1 million items. It is known to be the largest regional archive in Victoria. The building is massive featuring over 6,000m² of space, including five public levels, a diverse collection of print, multimedia and heritage items. Next to the library, is the beautiful Johnstone Park of Geelong, should you want to grab a picnic afterwards.
