Top things to do in Ringwood

Ringwood has become a well regarded established suburb. It’s become a very good employment hub, while its filled with many amenities and recreational activities. The suburb is well suited to families of all ages.

Here is a list of things to do, but in no particular order:

Eastland Shopping Centre

Eastland Shopping Centre is situated in the heart of the suburb. Perhaps some would say it is the heart of the suburb. A mecca for food, fashion and family-oriented experiences, Eastland has a world of entertainment. After a recent $665 million renovation, the shopping precinct has never looked so good.

With major anchor tenants including Myer, David Jones, Target, Kmart and Big W, you will find just about everything from your daily errands to clothing, cosmetics, personal care and so much more.

Jubilee Park

Jubilee Park is part of a large sporting precinct and offers a diverse range of recreational activities. You have various sporting clubs such as football, cricket, tennis, croquet, soccer and boxing clubs.

Aquanation

This impressive venue features water slides, an indoor Olympic sized swimming pool (with 10-lanes), a warm water pool, spa, sauna and steam room, just to name a few.

Aquanation’s aquatic playground is a kid friendly entertaining area of all ages with separate sections for toddlers. Aquanation also has a fully equipped gymnasium, group fitness classes and even private personal training sessions.

Proclamation Park

Proclamation has the famous AC Robertson Athletics Track, used for competitions, fitness enthusiasts and people enjoying a twilight walk. The park also comprises of two baseball diamonds, three ovals, bushland and a small playground.

This reserve is home to Ringwood Athletic Club and Ringwood Cricket Club.

Ringwood Lake

An 8.5-hectare open space filled with beautiful matured trees, landscaped gardens, walk tracks and of course the Ringwood lake. There is also a mining history display, large outdoor playground and a variety of picnic shelters and barbecues. Many locals enjoy the festivities of this beautiful reserve all year round by celebrating birthdays, family function etc.

Mullum Mullum Creek Trail

The Mullum Mullum Creek Trail runs between Sherbrook Avenue and Highland Avenue. A very popular communal space used by cyclists and pedestrians. The trail passes some beautiful and amenities including, picnic areas, play equipment and cricket fields. Many families often use the trail to take their children on walks as its less exposed to oncoming traffic too.

Hunter & Barrel Ringwood

Dining at Hunter & Barrel is a stunning restaurant with a rustic atmosphere. Well known for its quality steaks, and spit rotisserie, it’s a meat eaters dream. At the bar, there is a fantastic range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to choose from. A perfect outing with loved ones or for a romantic night, Hunter & Barrel will not let you down.

Cinque Ristorante is located on Warrandyte Road offers an Italian cuisine that will make you feel you’re dining at your family table. It’s a beautiful atmosphere with wonderful food.

High & Dry Bar

High & Dry is a classy bar situated as part of the Sage hotel. A great place to enjoy the nightlife among friends and family.

Suburban Dining + Rooftop

The Suburban is a public house located in Town Square. The building features a popular restaurant, a courtyard with private fining options and a neat rooftop bar that offers some fantastic views. The place really offers many options to cater many people and has been popular among locals for years.
