Brass Tapware
Brass tapware was quite popular many years ago. Interestingly, its never really faded out of fashion. In 2022, it certainly still shown great interest among buyers. It offers a a vintage or rustic style. It was previously used to compliment a wooden finish, but in modern times, brass tapware is being paired with stone/marble benchtops of various colours (generally light palettes). The more popular brass tapware would be either the polished or satin finish. Priced differently, polished is popular given the ease of matching it with other fixture and fittings and white goods. The satin offers a more matte finish which is more subtle and reduced fingerprints showing up.
Brushed Metals
Brushed metal tapware is very popular. Often presented in a gun metal grey it can come in a variety of colour schemes including gold or copper. It easily matches the way you design and dress up your bathroom and kitchen. The hand crafted look is also subtle and doesn’t interfere or contradict the room. The brushed metal finish also hides fingerprints and water spots. So they are quite versatile in kitchens when used regulalry on a daily basis. ‘

Matte black tapware has really become of age in the last decade. The sophisticated look has been widely popular among young adults. They are often used in new apartment and townhouse developments. It can also come in a variety of styles and textures to compliment your home.
