We took a quick opportunity to interview Ryan Wu, a property consultant at Crest Property Investments to learn more about his year and how he enjoys being part of the team.
Here were a few questions we asked:
What influenced you to work at Crest Property Investments?
I have spent half my life now in Australia and now call it home. Coming from China, I was eager to commence a professional career. I was previously an accountant, but it didn’t satisfy me enough. I wanted to help my clients more.
I was lucky to meet Tristan a few years ago and learnt what he was doing with Crest Property Investments. I have always been passionate about property investment and felt it was a complete no brainer to join the team.
What is your role at Crest Property Investments?
I am a property consultant who delivers tailored advice to our buyers. Many buyers come to me without knowing quite what they want. I spend the time to teach them the property market, help them understand what buying opportunities are available and presenting a solution that suits their time frame and budget. Some buyers want a house and land package while others may appreciate an inner city apartment or townhouse.
What motivates you each day?
I really enjoying being part of buying a property, even if it’s not for me. I enjoy researching and presenting solutions that help my client’s personal net wealth. I find myself more motivated as I have spent more time walking through new properties and seeing how excited people are once they collect their keys.
What sort of clients do you help?
I was first introduced to provide property solutions for foreign investors, particular south east Asia. However over my time, I find myself helping many first home buyers and lots of local investors. I enjoy the fact that I can touch people’s lives all over the world. We all lack time, so it’s nice that a buyer can rely on our service to help save time, money and make a good investment.
What is your favourite property type?
I first saw land to be my favourite, but that quickly changed once I learnt more about off the plan property. I now have no preference as I see great value in all residential property types, including apartments, townhouse and stand alone homes. Location outweighs it all for me!
What else do you do in your spare time?
I am a fan of strongman. I have been training in strongman for a few years now. I find it a great release of negative energy when you pick up something very heavy.
I also love playing board games with my two kids. We seem forget how long we have been playing once we get into it!
Thank you Ryan Wu for sharing some insight to Crest Property Investments.
