Buyers agent vs real estate agent

At Crest Property Investments, we have been assisting buyers for many years, by sourcing brand new or off the plan properties. Our niche service as a buyers advocate also known as a buyers agent is quite different to a traditional real estate agent.

Here we share the key differences between our buyers advocacy service and a real estate agent.

Buyers agent:

  • We act on behalf of the buyer
  • We act in the best interest of the buyer
  • We provide property advice to buyers
  • We source brand new and off the plan property for the buyer
  • We evaluate and negotiate on the buyers behaved
  • We assist with the purchase process through to settlement
  • We do not charge our buyers a fee for service
  • We educate buyers so they make an informed decision

Real estate agent:

  • They act on behalf of the seller/vendor
  • They act in the best interests of the seller/vendor
  • They provide advice to the seller/vendor
  • They generally sell second hand properties

In summary

At Crest Property Investments, we ultimately learn what our buyer is looking for, help teach them the property market and then source the right property to suit. We have an array of opportunities to offer. It is important to note, not all buyers have the same requirements or budget. We understand this. This is why a buyer’s advocate provides a superior service for the buyer.
