Bricks have been the common front facade for decades. Over the last decade, bricks can now come in so many colours, shapes and sizes. We have seen homes built with both small and large bricks to create more dynamics to the look. The benefits of using bricks to other types of materials are they are low maintenance and the offer great longevity. They are also a very secured to hold up a house structure.

Low-maintenance
Many of us have some skills to do some handy work at home, but we also lack the time to do it. When it comes to selecting a front facade, its ideal to choice a design that requires low maintenance. This is important if you are building the house to invest or occupy.
Not all houses are equal. Don’t be fooled that a brand new house will naturally provide low maintenance. For example, some front facades include timber to give the home a warmer feel. Timber materials often require regular maintenance as the hot summer days and wet winters damage it. The higher the quality wood, the less maintenance needed, but is it really worth paying more for it?
Look for products that are light-weight, resistant to the elements, and are straightforward to take care of. Some examples are using Colorbond and aluminium windows.
Longevity
When selecting a house quality is more important than price. We all have a budget and shouldn’t over spend, however it’s ideal to consider the quality as a very important criteria. Quality homes will provide more longevity.
