Laminate benchtops have the widest range of colours and designs that imitate more expensive materials such as timber and stone.
Which is more popular to have?
Stone bench tops are the most popular. They are very durable and easy to clean. The quality provides good longevity and brings a level of sophistication to the home.

As stone bench tops are better quality and provide more longevity to a laminated bench top, they costs quite a bit more. They may cost about $1,500-$3,000 more for a kitchen bench top, depending on the size, shape or thickness.
