A property with timber flooring is very popular. They look sophisticated, improve hygiene and often last longer than carpets. However over time with constant walking, the timber flooring can start to creak. There is nothing worse than waking up your partner or child as you head out to work walking of a squeaky floor.

Here are three simple tips that may help with those creaking floorboards. It may also save you lots of money in comparison to repairing/replacing them:
- Generously sprinkle baby powder over the creaking floorboards area.
- Use a soft brush to get the powder into the cracks. A broom or a soft cloth is also useful.
- Take your time blending the powder into the floors. It may take time to fall within the cracks of the floor boards.
- Leave it a couple of days to set in before dusting/vacuuming the floor.
